| The impact of City Year DC, a lasting appreciation |
April 21--Washington, DC--
City Year DC provides a much needed service to students in the most challenged situations. City Year members are near peer mentors to elementary, middle school and high school students. Their impact sets a positive experience for their students in school and in the community. City Year is part of Americorp.
The City Year Gala is a fundraiser as well as a year in review of the bonds formed between the students and their City Year mentor.
