The College Board

April 30, 2012--Washington, DC--The College Board hosted a webcast at the Newseum to introduce the Completion Arch website. The Completion Arch, an innovative, free web-based tool which collects, organizes and explains the vast amount data currently used to measure community college student progress and success.  Roberto J. Rodriguez, Special Assistant to the President for Education was the keynote speaker.

April 28, 2012--Lodge at Little Seneca Creek, Maryland--My friend's niece, Astrid Nathalie Garcia's Quinceañera.  A family affair celebrating her 15th birthday, commemorating the transition from childhood to maturity. The entire event was planned and organized by Eduardo Estrada.  (E2 Events)

Hero Rush


April 28, 2012--High Point Farms--Clarksburg, MD--The debut of Hero Rush  a 5K obstacle course designed to experience a firefighters life.  The fire-related obstacles include climbing ladders, crawling through windows, going through hazmat slime, rescue victims and testing your endurance.  The proceeds benefit local firefighter charities and the national charity, National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Thank you to Stuart Kaul of Greenleaf Event Agency the official event agency of Hero Rush who recommended me to this inaugural event.
