The Unveiling

May 9, 2009--Washington, DC--For the first time in its history The National Portrait Gallery commissioned a portrait other than a President or First Lady.  Eunice Kennedy Shriver, founder of Special Olympics, was honored with being the first portraiture.  Artist David Lenz and Bobby Shriver unveil the painting at the Gallery's event.
